8g
Fiber per serving
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup ground flax seeds
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Optional: 1 tsp dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, or Italian seasoning)
Instructions
-
Mix and wait: In a bowl, combine all seeds, water, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs. Stir well. Let sit for 15 minutes - the mixture will become gel-like.
-
Preheat oven: Heat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Spread thin: Pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, spread as thin and even as possible (about 1/8 inch thick). The thinner, the crunchier!
-
Score: Using a pizza cutter or knife, lightly score the mixture into cracker-sized squares.
-
Bake: Bake for 30 minutes, then carefully flip the entire sheet using another baking sheet. Peel off parchment paper.
-
Finish baking: Bake for another 15-20 minutes until completely crispy and golden brown.
-
Cool and break: Let cool completely, then break along scored lines.
