Elixir Lab: How We Handle Your Health Information

Last updated: July 15, 2026

What this covers

This notice is specifically about the Elixir Lab — the tool that lets you customize the Magic Elixir Mixir recipe based on your health goals, conditions, and bloodwork. It doesn't cover the rest of the site.

You don't need an account to use this

The Elixir Lab works fully anonymously. You can select goals, declare conditions, mark out-of-range bloodwork, and get a customized recipe without ever creating an account or giving us any information beyond what you type into the tool for that single visit. Nothing is stored unless you choose to save it.

What we store, if you choose to save

If you create an account and explicitly consent, we store:

We do this so we can load your customization back the next time you visit — nothing more. We never store numeric lab values, reference ranges, or uploaded lab documents — the Elixir Lab doesn't collect them at all.

Where it lives and how it's protected

This data is stored in our database provider (Supabase, hosted in the United States), encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security so that only you, through your own logged-in session, can read or write it.

We do not sell or share this

We never sell your health information, and we never share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. It is used solely to provide the Elixir Lab feature to you.

How long we keep it

We keep your saved customization for as long as your account exists. There's no separate retention period beyond that — deleting your customization or your account removes the underlying record, not just a reference to it.

Your controls

If you're a California, Washington, Nevada, or EU resident, you may have specific statutory rights regarding health-related data we hold about you (for example under the CCPA/CPRA, Washington's My Health My Data Act, or GDPR). The controls above are intended to let you exercise those rights directly; contact us at the address above for anything those tools don't cover.

This is not medical advice

The Elixir Lab, your saved customization, and any Doctor's Note generated from it are informational tools — not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. Always discuss changes to your diet or supplement routine with your doctor, particularly if you've declared a medical condition or medication here.
